Carlos Diaz Alvarenga is a PhD student in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science advised by Dr. Stefano Carpin. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics with a concentration in Computer Science from the University of California, Merced. His research is concerned with patrolling strategies, multi-robot systems, and reinforcement learning. He is also a strong supporter of Free/Libre and Open-Source software and hardware.
